Meet the man behind Wylde
A father, an author, and an optimistic voice for the human future.
A pen name with a mission
Wylde Scott is an award-winning children's author, researcher, futurist, and literacy advocate, and the founder of The Imagination Project. But before any of that, he's a dad. Everything he builds comes from a simple place: he cares deeply about the kids growing up in the age of AI, and he wants to help parents and educators give them a future full of possibility.
As a keynote speaker, Wylde helps parents, educators, and leaders understand how rapid technological change is reshaping childhood — and why a child's future will depend on how they think, not just what they know. His message is hopeful and practical: move beyond test-centric learning toward imagination, play, empathy, and critical thinking. Through his signature blue suit and top hat, he turns that mission into joyful, child-safe storytelling that protects and develops human creativity in an increasingly automated world.
A hopeful message, not a fearful one
Wylde Scott isn't anti-technology or anti-AI — he's pro-human, pro-innovation, and pro-creativity. His work is about helping kids, and the adults who love them, build the one skill machines can't replicate: imagination. It's a hopeful, practical, future-focused message — not a fearful one.
